Trucking companies could soon be looking for more drivers. New rules go into effect on July 1st banning truckers from driving more than 70 hours in seven days. The former rules let truckers to 82 hours a week. Reducing the hours could create a need for an additional 100 thousand drivers, but companies say they are already having a tough time filling jobs.![]()
